Reflection

I studied about making presentation in this class. I am not good to use a computer. So it is difficult for me to make a presentation. When I made last presentation, it took a long time to finish making slides. However, this class has a lot of good points. I can get a lot of information every time. It is very interesting for me to listening to their presentations because those informations are first time I have heard that. I must also make a presentation with my classmates, so I found that it is important to cooperate with them. It is difficult to make a presentation with a group, but I could enjoy doing it. This learning was a good experience for me.

System of Foreign Study in Toronto

We researched about study abroad for short terms in Toronto. It is held from July to August period. To begin with, I will talk about a system of this study abroad.


First, you must entry to join this study abroad. There are terms when you entry, for example, to be sound in mind and body, suitable language skills, and to attend preliminary guidance. You also must care about the number to be recruited. The number of studu abroad in Toronto is 40 people.


If your study abroad decides, you must join several guidance. Then you can go to Toronto. In Toronto, you do a home stay. You can get two or four credits during you go stydy abroad.
You must submit a lot of documents before stydy abroad. I think that a person who can observe the deadline would make a suitable study abroad student.

Travel

　　I will talk about how to get to buses in Japan.


First, you get to a back door of a bus. Then you must take a boarding ticket. A fare was indicated in front of the inside of the bus. If you don’t have exactly amount of money, you must exchange by a money changer the inside of the bus.


Second, I explain how to get out of the bus. If you want to get out next bus stop, you push button of getting out nearby. Then if the bus arrive the bus stop of destination, you put your fare in the fares box together with your boarding ticket. At last, you can get out the bus from front door.

I think that you feel easy to get to buses in Japan. Please try it!

Bestival

Hi. I am Misato. I introduce the approach to The Isle of Wight where Bestival is held.


First, you go to Heathrow Airport by Airplane. It takes about twelve hours. There are a lot of Japanese passengers of this airport in London. We change from a airplane to a subway there.


Second, you go to London Waterloo Station. It takes about 50 minutes. This station is one of the largest stations in London, and has very beautiful building like a World Heritage Site.


Third, you go to Portsmouth Harbor Station by a railway. It takes about two hours. This station is close by a ferry landing. We go on a ferry for about 30 minutes.


At last, you arrive at Isle of Wight. This island is very small. But there are a lot of traditional wooden houses. Bestival is held in Robin Hill Park. You might feel that the time required is long. You might not be embarrassed at the time of the transfer. Please go to Isle of Wight.

Olympia

The Ancient Olympics began in the 8 century before Christ. At that time, a disease spread at Olympia. Eris started an athletic meeting. The athletics meeting was held once every four years. At first, only neighboring residents joined the athletics meeting. But gradually anyone was able to joined the Ancient Olympics. The spectators at the Ancient Olympics were about two hundred thousand people. In those days, there were a lot of events. For example, wrestling, a short-distance race, etc.

For three months that Ancient Olympic was held was peaceful. So Ancient Olympic called “the event of peace.” In 394, Ancient Olympic was abolished by a Roman Emperor.

The sports around was dug up 20 century. Olympia was placed on the World Heritage List. Then in 2004, Olympics were held at Athens, and the shot put did at this sports ground. To this day history of Olympia has been kept.

Tokyo Disneyland

I reserched about Disney Resort train. Disney resort line began operation in 2001. The length of track is about five kirometers. The train connects Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo Disneysea, Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotel, and Ikspiari.

The stations the train stops at are Resort Gateway station, Tokyo Disneyland station, Bayside station, and Tokyo Disneysea station. Most people who come here use this train.

The character, Mickey Mouse is everywhere as the strap and on the windows. I think looking for them is one of the enjoyments. The train is like one of the attractions. I think that you can also surely enjoy it. Please go to Tokyo Disneyland taking the Disney Resort Line.
